The objects of the Trust are:

To devise and implement educational programs in the field of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery for the benefit of young professionals specializing in the field of plastic and reconstructive surgery and microsurgery. To foster education to promote reconstructive and microsurgery as a growing speciality. To develop protocols for standardizing imaging and interpretation.

To fund and to promote clinical and basic science research in the field of plastic and reconstructive surgery.

To promote collaboration between individuals and institutions for conducting multicentre research programmes in the field of plastic and reconstructive surgery.

To provide state of the art facilities for imaging of disorders of the bones, joints and associated soft tissues using a wide variety of modalities including Computed Tomography (CT), Ultrasonography and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI).

To establish, support, run, and/ or grant aid and other financial assistance to institutions engaged in the field of plastic and reconstructive surgery education at any place or places in the Indian Union for use of the students and the staff and also generally for the development and/ or advancement of education and diffusion of knowledge amongst the public in general.

To establish, maintain and/ or run studentships, scholarships, and fellowships and render other kind of aid to individuals including supply of medical and other books, stipends, medals and other incentives to study, without any distinction based on caste, colour or creed.

To grant aid, to promote, establish, support and/ or maintain institutions for the promotion of plastic and reconstructive surgery education and preservation of research papers and research findings and other institutions having similar objects for the benefit of the public in general.

To upgrade the skills of plastic and reconstructive surgeons and rehabilitation service providers by conducting seminars, courses, fellowships and the like in the field of plastic and reconstructive surgery.

To provide any other facility or infrastructure incidental to education and research programs provided by the Trust and to benefit those beneficiaries who are. interested in availing any other facilities while seeking pursuit of education in the institutions established by the Trust.

To carry out any philanthropic public charitable purpose which the Trust is empowered and capable of doing not inconsistent with the objects set out above.

The objects specified in clause (6) supra shall be independent of each other and the Board of Trustees hereinafter constituted may from time to time, apply the funds of the Trust as it may in its absolute discretion think fit.
